BLUE-BAG-IT

BLUE-BAG-IT is the Salvation Army’s largest and most exciting interactive clothing donation campaign

  • i.e. developed the national strategy and produced support material for this textile reclamation program

  • in 2001, approximately 7 million pounds of clothing was collected in one month across Canada

  • within three years, the program had support and participation from 53 shopping malls from coast to coast

  • 3.2 million bags were distributed with an 11 per cent return

  • more than $1 million in promotional advertising secured to promote the campaign
