Idea Experts expanded The Salvation Army’s
BLUE-BAG-IT campaign over a five year period; starting with
two shopping centres, and building it into a national month
long campaign with 53 shopping centre venues participating in
thirteen cities coast to coast.
Idea Experts
developed a strategic alliance with the Bay Canada to increase
customer traffic and sales by implementing the old for new
donation campaign in all the Bay stores across Canada.
Idea Experts implemented the first non-profit
product and literature office distribution campaign ever to be
executed in the Federal Government offices in both Ottawa and
Queen’s Park in Toronto.
Idea Experts wrote the strategic plan to
transition the Canadian BLUE-BAG-IT campaign to the Australian
market. This included site visits, staff training and market
positioning for The Salvation Army Australia.
Idea Experts conceived and managed an
innovative design centre and fashion retail store creating
one-of-a-kind fashion garments from out-of-date clothes and
surplus fabrics. The money raised goes to Barnardo’s
Children’s Charity to help support its network of 160 local
projects across England. Barnardo’s provides a range of
service for more than 16,000 children and their families, and
is one of
England’s oldest and most respected charities.

Idea Experts developed a social action game day
event strategy for the Toronto Blue Jays, packaging an
assortment of activities to gain maximum exposure for the
charitable organization involved: player endorsement; press
conference; on-field presentation and photo shoot; Videotron
messaging and post game give away. This strategy has also
been re-packaged and rolled out by the BC Lions football club.
Idea Experts successfully grew, managed
and strengthened The Salvation Army’s BLUE-BAG-IT campaign for
seven consecutive years, with a grass roots approach that is
national in scope.
Idea Experts stays connected with the social
needs and interests of sponsors and media by holding annual
focus groups in each major market to discuss market challenges
and new strategic alliance possibilities.
